Default New Whey Shots vs. Syntax Nectar

I am on puréed foods stage - 4 oz 3 times a day. Been doing Premier shake for breakfast, cottage cheese or Greek yogurt for lunch and soup or refried beans for dinner. Plus try for 64 oz fluids, of course my vitamins also. My NUT wants 70 grams of protein a day but says it could take a few weeks to get there. Unless I add a protein liquid it's I possible with on,y 4 oz of food 3X a day.
I've tried the new whey shots, diluted in about 20 oz of water, but not crazy for it. Is Syntax nectar drinks tastier? I tried the Caribean Cooler flavor in about 2 cups of water and its just ok but maybe I just didn't like that particular flavor. Wondering what others are doing and how you mix it (eg how much water to dilute).
I'm in a stall and I hope if I up my protein it will help break it.

I actually take Nectar....Its very good to me. I mix all 3 scoops in one mix so that I can have all of my protein for the day. A flavor I recommend would be the double stuffed cookies. It taste exactly like crushed oreos! Im actually drinking it as I type this message. I have also tried their caribbean cooler and im not crazy over that flavor. Vanilla bean seems to taste really good. I am going to try their strawberry mousse next. Try the double stuffed cookies! its DELISH!

I have only tried the Caribbean Cooler, grapefruit, and iced tea of the Nectars and I really only liked the grapefruit one. The iced tea was DISGUSTING! I tried my first Whey Protein Shot diluted in 20 oz of water yesterday and kind of liked it, but I haven't been sleeved yet so maybe my taste buds will change post-op. What flavor did you try with the shot? I did the acai berry one. You could also try Isopure RTD, but it's pricey. I bought the orange and like it okay.

No, not exactly. It's a refreshing taste, but thicker. I bought samples to try instead of investing in a large container. I don't think I liked it enough to buy a whole container, though. Doesn't crystal light make a grapefruit? Maybe buy that and the unflavored protein powder to it...

I love the shots(my favorite is watermelon)! Mix them with zero water flavors and sliced lime and lemon. Also use Torani flavors too. The best way for me when I need protein in a hurry (like work) is the shots. And I always cut them with something as for me they are too thick and sweet on their own.
I use Syntax but not anywhere near as much as Unjury protein powder. Just love Unjury. One of my favorite "protein shakes" is to mix chocolate Unjury 2 scoops, 1 cup of coconut water, 1 cup of sugar free soy milk, and 2 tablespoons of chocolate Torani syrup. Yum.
IT'S BEEN ALMOST TEN YEARS NOW SINCE MY SURGERY. AND IM STILL GOING STRONG!!!!!!

Lashauntey, is 3 scoops equivalent to one packet? I bought a sample pak of envelopes. Also how much water do you dilute it with? I've been doing 2 cups of water to one packet.

No Jules. One packet is equivalent to 1 scoop. 3 packets are required to get the minimum requirements of our daily protein

Do you have to add water to the shots?
