Unhappy 4 weeks out and having discomfort on lower left side.

Hi, It has been 4 weeks since I had the sleeve and initially I did not have any problems, nausea or pain, but 2 weeks ago I started feeling some discomfort on my lower left area, not at the level of my stomach, more like left to my belly button, left of the incisions.
I am having also discomfort when I lay down on the left side. Also, sometimes the area of my stomach seems like is having an inflamation. it is weird..... sometimes when I am yawning I feel like if i am pulling something and it hurts a little bit. I have been following my diet very strictly.
I was wondering if someone else is feeling something similiar...
    Thanks

HI there, I am 4 weeks out also and have lots of little pulling sensations, some a bit more painful than others. I also am very touchy around the larger incision. Stretching up or even sometimes turning over in bed can cause a bit of an "ouch" . There is a lot of healing going on in there, don't forget and as I keep being reminded by Everyoneit has only been 4 weeks since major surgery, take it easy.
If anything gets too OUCHY I would defintely ask my Dr.
    Take care and keep losing.

I got my sleeve on the 15th of feb. and like 2 weeks after I had to cough really bad but i didn't have a pillow around me and ended coughing really hard then sneezed really hard and I got this really sharp pain in my stomach... it is right under my large incision on my right side. I thought I was going to die cause like everytime i moved it hurt, then when i went to get up or even turn in the bed it hurt so bad. So, I went to the dr. and he told me that I tore a muscle along my suture line on my stomach... It sucks he told me just to try and strecth and that the rest of it would have to heal itslef. I hope that you get better, I take a tyenol sometimes when it gets too bad or I put a icy hot patch on they don't take it completly away but it helps some. :-)

    Wonderful...
    Yes. Under the left rib.
    If I get tender over
anything, that is where I get tender. Dr says nothing
wrong. Maybe 1. 2. 3. but all just guesses. Absolutely
nothing to worry about. Probably just a bit of scar
tissue. I way over reacted because of my prior infection.
Yours will probably just go away with healing.

Important lesson that helped me was when the doctor
finally got through my tough male ego to be able to
hear that I feel much better before I actually get better.
That he has seen inside me, so just calm down and let
the healing take whatever time it takes.
Thus no TT for Mike in October, but maybe April 22nd.
    (fingers crossed.)
