appt after egd... am i crazy?

I have my egd friday morning at 9:45. I got a call today asking if i could do my psych evaluation at 11:45. this is a huge opportunity for me because they didn't have any appointments until March 21st! I called and asked if it was okay to do after egd since I'd be coming off anesthesia. they went ahead and made the appointment but weren't sure if i'd be "alert" enough to have it. so here's my question: how long did your egd take and how did you feel after coming out of anesthesia? I really NEED to get these both done friday or it will put my surgery off significantly! How alert were you after you woke up?

hey i had my egd done on the 16th i felt fine after it does not take long at all it to longer for them to get the iv in then the test.the doc said it only takes 5-10 min.i think you will be fine.plus the phsyc thing is just a bunch of crazy questions nothing hard.i think youll be fine...good luck
