South Carolina folks!

I spent many years in SC, first in Goose Creek, then in York. I would love to one day move back, I hear they are building two new Nuclear Plants near Columbia so maybe one day we will head back there. We do go to SC about twice a year as we have one son living upstate in Taylors and two living in Goose Creek. But i have to say Arizona has...no mosquitoes, little humidity and few bugs...those make me enjoy calling this home for now.

I live in the Upstate, Greenville SC! I am hoping to get my lap band out and get a sleeve in the next few months. I am currently loking at two different surgeons and waiting for an insurance approval, I hope.

SCGal, we are heading out there later this month. We are taking a cruise out of Charleston. While there we will go to Taylors, near Greenville, to visit our son and daughter in law. I am looking forward to hopefully seeing some azaleas in bloom while we are there, hope I am not too late! That is something I miss seeing, I love the desert but we just don't have they type of beauty here.

Azaleas are in bloom now, ElleMarie. Hope they hold out until you get here! I went on the Carnival Fantasy out of Charleston last April and had a wonderful time!

Laurie, I am a Laurie too! I use ElleMarie, Elle for Laurie and Marie is my middle name. Ellemarie is the name I write under.

What did you do on the the cruise? We are debating a few things. I am feeling adventurous now that I have lost some of my weight but my hubby is having a tough time doing a lot of walking due to arthritis in his toes so we can't do heavy walking activities. THANKS!!

I live in Charleston, SC. Had to go to Myrtle Beach to have my surgery since I was self pay. I work at the Medical University of South Carolina and the surgery here is 25k and not covered by my insurance.
