JJ can't make it to Vegas :(

Jersey John asked me to post to say that he is having some issues at home and unfortunately won't be able to make it to Vegas . (I'm still hoping that will change.)

He will be back on the board when he gets a chance but life is pretty hectic at the moment.

I was wondering too. Glad you posted a bit of an update. Have been missing his posts!! JJ can make me laugh....and there are times I need a good laugh. These threads can get a bit serious at times. Great to have JJ around to lighten things up a bit.

How can he know now that he can't do something in May? Maybe his wife (if he is married) read all his sexually oriented posts...I'm just saying.

No it's not that Christy. I cannot go into detail as it's not my place. He just asked me to post for him as he is tied up with stuff and can't get on the board these days.

It's not a definite no but a good probability that he won't make it. Please don't judge him or his posts as it really has nothing to do with that.

Thanks everyone (especially Michelle for posting my change of plans).....

My wife and I havie been living seperate lives in the same house for over 5 years now..... we were planning on formally seperating and divorcing by summer, but we were supposed to be going through mediation. Vegas was going to be my divorce celebration party, and my best friend - a widower was coming with me.

My wife recently found out her untreated mental illness will be a major issue for custody and the poop hit the fan - only because she refuses to have to pay child support. She told me to "just take them", that I "can have them", but she's not paying one cent to me for them....so mediation has been cancelled and we have both hired lawyers and are preparing for a nasty custody battle.

With everything my wife's illnesses have put me through over the last 13 years, there isn't anything I have posted here I wouldn't simply let her read. Not to mention that I believe she has had an older man/boss spending money on her and buying her gifts for a couple of years now. She got caught going to a Yankee game with him, and she made up some story about him just wanting to introduce her to his love of baseball (nevermind the lies about where she was supposed to be that night)...So no, my posts here have nothing to do with causing my divorce, in fact they were my first attempts to look forward to it.

Oh and to add insult to injury I put her through medical school and she makes 3 times what I do now....Her father kicked her out of the house at 19 when she failed out of college on her first attempt. She moved in with my family and the rest is infamy....I don't care about alimony or spousal support, but I'll be damned if my girls don't get every penny they deserve.

I'm just looking forward to when my life will really begin again in about 6 months time.

Marriage is hard and divorce is even harder, I've been there, it's no fun. It's even harder when kids are involved. I hope it all works out for you are your kids.
