Hi, can anyone tell me how long their three week plateau lasted for? I am not discouraged but would rather see the scales moving than stuck!
How long was it before you needed to buy new clothes?
Mine lasted two weeks but I've seen some posted theirs lasted much longer. I haven't HAD to buy new clothes yet but wanted to some a few things at fit and not big on me (but still can wear just fine). I brought a pair of 8 size pants before surgery that took a month for me to fit in, was a 14. I have brought a few more size 8 last week but they are all ready starting to get loose on me too. So, I will be donating my bigger stuff this weekend. I have a size 4 I am working to fit in soon! Once I do, I'll buy some size 4 stuff and then donate the clothes I am wearing now!
Thanks! That is great, gives me something to look forward to. I am still able to wear my clothes though they are all quite loose. I would like to start buying some smaller sizes, but feel I need to wear what I got for as long as possible. It will be nice to get rid of everything because it does not fit anymore.
My week 3 plateau lasted about 4-5 days. I was super frustrated. Then today it seems to have broken.
As far as sizes I haven't gone down a size yet. However, what I am wearing now (4 weeks out tomorrow) was definitely too tight before surgery. There were items in my closet I wouldn't wear, and the only pair of jeans that "fit" was pretty tight. Now those same jeans are getting loose. So, no actual size loss yet. Just a loosening of my clothes. But I have that frustrating thing where I lose incredibly evenly, so I don't have dramatic changes. Sounds great in theory, but is annoying in application.
