halfway there

Hey everyone,

I know I've been away for a while as life gets busy. I haven't forgotten you guys though. I'm almost halfway to my goal weight, just a few more pounds. This journey has been amazing. Thank you to all you who have supported me through this time and for all the encouragement. I hit a stall for a few weeks and now it's behind me thank God.

Glad to see you too! One of the wonderful things about finally getting sleeved is that you can move on with your life! Food and lack of control and desperation to find a solution are no longer the focus of every single day... so it's a good thing that we gradually stop spending as much time on here... a little sad because I probably have better friends here than real life LOL! But it means things are working if you forget about the sleeve every now and then! I know I spent several months obsessed with this site and a few others and it consumed many hours every day! Now I truly just forget - my brain finally opened up enough to focus and obsess on non-food related issues Love to hear from you, but I understand! Take care and glad that first stall is behind you! You lost more in 2 months than I did in over 4! In fact, you will probably pass me up here very soon. Way to go!

40lbs in 2 months is fabulous. i'm 40lbs in 5 months but have been at it real slow so i do not regain it and honestly, i'm much older than u and don't want to have a face lift too. so, i'm happy w/my weight loss and my skin is still in great condition. happy to see ur doing great and staying busy. stay in touch! xoxo

Go, Linda!!! It is good to get past the first few weeks and really "settle in". And It is amazing how much time I have for other things now that I am not constantly thinking about food.

Splendaa, I remember you had quite a few problems in the beginning after your surgery. Are you all past that and back to normal now? I'm about 4 -6 weeks from getting my sleeve, just wanting to know what to expect - good & bad.
