Smile Scale trauma update + living by myself

Hey everyone! I had a rough couple of days, with my feelings about the scale. Remember I said I had it hidden? Well, I found it and weighed in 2 pounds heavier. I guess it's better for me to weigh in twice a day after all! I know its my fault because I did a lot of unhealthy nibbling due to stress these last days. I have also had a week without exercise because I have been too busy to get a proper workout. I did however walk a little bit. Anyways, I am looking at this as positively as I can and going back to my first diet step, to shock my metabolism a little. I won't let this get me. I won't. ( Mantra lol)

Anyways, the important thing is that I am a college student, I am living completely on my own about 2 hrs plane distance from my parent's place, so I am scared about how I will handle classes, food consumption, healthy choices and overfilling my tummy if I have no time and am completely concentrated in my studies. I leave on Sunday, and I come back home for spring break, so its all on me to show my parents that I won't screw it up. Anyone has any advice for me? I'd appreciate it Good day to you all!

Keep your eyes on the prize honey, Don't let nervousness get you off your game sweety. You can do this I know you can!!!! Keep telling yourself it just isn't OK to snack anymore like that.. When you feel the need to snack on something drink as much water as you can then you will be too full to snack. I believe in you and I know you want this to be as successful as possible or you wouldn't have went through this process, so gt back up on that horse and ride that sucker in a full trot with your hair flying freely....

Stop the "snacks" is what I did to brake my "stall" Is hard sometimes but you need to keep your mind busy. I think school will keep you pretty busy as a full time student , I hope they have a gym at your college if not then any type of physical activity will also help

    Hey hun..
I weigh myself daily which i was told not to do but the stubborn in me makes me lol..and there are alot of times i will be losing then all of sudden i will gain 2 pounds and i havent eaten alot cept what i am supposed to eat.. but over the last three month by weighing myself daily i see the trends on when it happens, usually when it happens its generally 2 weeks before my period, i have a bit of a stall then i lose it again. i was told the 2 lb weight gain was normal and not to fret it too too much, cuz i know whenit first happened i was devestated, now when it hapens i know i will continue to lose when my body is ready to give up th fat. My suggestion to you on how to eat is to plan out your meals and bring stuff to class that you can eat.. when i go out during the day i bring my snacks with me or my lunch so i know i am eating what i am supposed to eat..if you plan your meals and prepare it the nite before then you will be all good!!! i hope this has helped you out..and remember your strong, you have come this far with the surgery , you can go all the way!!!

I know it is hard to get in exercise sometimes. I work full time as a school counselor and am going back to school part time to get my second master's degree. I completely understand the no time thing. What helped me was to go through and make a schedule of all the time I am in classes, working, sleeping, etc. Once I had everything penciled in, I went back and put in working out time on my schedule and try to think of it as just another "meeting" or appointment in my day. That has really helped me so far. Good luck! I know you can do this!
