Now that I have read it all i'm going to bed. We might just have to get busy so I remember what fat sex is like so I can compare it to the skinny sex that is in my very near future!

I'm the one in my marriage that has a low libido. Call it from stress, family, work, bills, money, FAT . . . I know my husband and I are looking forward to a better sex life to work our marriage and make it a much happier and satisfying one! 21 more days until my VSG!!

Ive only lost 27 lbs since my surgery 11 days ago, my husband (he didnt get sleeved) has lost 39 lbs and we finally had sex this week, and I couldnt believe with just the little weight we lost, how different it feels...I swear, it almost feels like someone else...lol. However, it was a bit painful, not complaining though I think it was the best sex we've had since we've first got together, and when he came home from deployment. I cant wait to lose more to see how much better it can get ....

It's so funny....sometimes I'll think in the middle of sex about how my ribs are right there....like you can feel them against his skin. Or when laying on our sides he's actually grabbing my hip bone instead of the fat on top of it. I actually enjoy looking at the "action" now - where as before I didn't wanna see my fat.

We're leaving to "break in" his cabin in a couple of hours....and I can't wait.

"Skinny Sex" is the most fun ever :-P

Hey, I finally feel like I can be part of this thread!
I had NO libido to speak of between surgery and about 3 days ago. I have never had that problem before. Actually what happened was about 3 wks ago I started having hot flashes and night sweats again for the first time since surgery. Bad ones, really often, like twice an hour. Like my body was making up for 5 1/2 months of not having them. Instead of being cold all the time I was roasting, drenching the sheets. And now I quite suddenly notice my mind wandering like a teenager to sex very often. I feel like myself again! Hubby is, um, quite happy because even though I made sure he was happy all this time... he can see I'm back to being into it... it's been a "busy" weekend!
I'm going to talk to my gyno about all this. I can only guess that perhaps the loss of ghrelin and needing to heal threw off my already menopausal hormones and as I healed they came back.
Wanted to throw this out there for anyone else, female or male who might also have been suffering from loss of libido just after surgery. There is hope, it can come back

Oh, and I'm back to being cold but not quite as cold, we'll see on that....oh, well, I'll take it...at least now I'm more interested in hubby helping me get warmed up!

I haven't been that interested in sex BUT..I got hit on! I was getting donuts/kolaches for the kids yesterday and some dude was flirting with me. He hung around outside (with his small child, no less) and when I came out, he was talking to me. I thought he was going to rob me! LOL Then finally he asked for my number and it dawned on me that I was being hit on. It's been SOOOO long that I didn't recognize it. Truly funny.

As a result of that positive attention, I've had a little libido peek out from under its hiding place. I realized it's not my surgery that made it wane.
