Waiting for the call back on my TT

I'm waiting for the call from the doctor on my tummy
tuck. Not sure just how I will react. I know he won't
say never, but he might say to wait awhile like he did
last October. Excited and scared are pretty much the
same.

BTW, how do you know when you are ready? Or...more specifically....what are your surgeons requirements?

Doctor does not seem to have any ridged guidelines. I think he wants a
stable weight loss. He didn't do me last year because of other med's
I take that he wants to discontinue before the operation. So I am waiting
in the gap for the doctors to talk with each other.
I will give him credit that he asked several times if I really wanted to
go through the healing and he pointed out that being smaller in the
waist will increase the illusion of larger in the chest. I think I have pretty
realistic expectations.
I talked with several doctors and the common thread seemed to be a
period of stable weight loss. I will of course continue to stay on a losing
meal plan to help get the best result, but doctor said it really isn't
necessary that I drop any more.

Update: Now it is the waiting game for still ANOTHER in office
visit next Thursday. Possible surgery dates are 3/4 and 3/7 or
maybe just NO.
Grrr. Not good at waiting.
Good news 209 new low. Probably won't reach the below 200
goal if he approves surgery, but way closer than I thought.

Update. Still another office visit next Tuesday. I'm hoping this is the last one
as the other doctor's have signed off their approval.
I'm shooting for maybe 4/21 but I will settle for any date in early May as well.
New low weight is 203 so I might hit the 199's before the surgery.
My shoulder surgery is doing fine. Cast brace comes of early May. I'm hoping
the doctor will allow some overlap.

How exciting. Glad to read that your shoulder is doing well. Can you imagine being under 200?!?! And that's just around the corner. Fingers crossed!!! Thanks for posting updates!
