Best of luck to you Chef. You are making a great life choice. My surgery was the best decision I've ever made. I had some scared family members. They didn't like that I was going to do it, but they supported me. We are all very happy that I did it now.
The liquid pre op diet SUCKS. The only way I got through it was that it had an end date. You can do it!

I live in Alaska, but am having my surgery at the Pudget Sound Surgical Center. I am coming down to Seattle this weekend for my first consultation. Would be great to talk with other people who are having surgery/have had surgery in the Seattle area.
