Default Where are you and what is the weather like?

It has been soooo hot in Queensland recently, then cooled down, then got hot again, the humidity has been pretty gross! It's cooled down again today so I'm quite pleased about that. I don't mind heat but sometimes, towards the end of summer, I get a bit stressed out with the humidity!
My Daughter is in England and it is snowing for her! She has sent me some lovely video and pics. How about you guys? What is your weather up to? I think I like autumn best, though we don't really have much of one up here in Queensland, but the winters are so beautiful. They are like perfect summer days and just colder in the mornings and evenings :-)
Sometimes I obsess about the weather... it must be the English in me :-)

I am in the UK and woke up to everything white. Snow is beautiful until it melts. I prefer hot weather and that's the South African in me. I can't wait for summer.

I'm in Texas in the US, here recently it's been in the 40's to 60's (f) and wet, it's the start of our wet season. I'm excited for the spring this year!

I am in Taroudant, Morocco and today we have a beautiful, sunny day with a light breeze.
It is 24 Celcius, that would be 75 Farenheit.
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

It's been very up and down in the Washington, DC area (weather and otherwise!) Cold & snow, then a day in the 70s. Then a long streak of rain. Soon we'll have a month or two of spring, then heat & humidity will settle in.

I prefer to walk outside but I've recently started doing an hour long aerobic workout DVD first thing so I don't have to depend on the weather. The weather is just too unpredictable. I'm really enjoying doing this early every morning (gets me going early) and on a nice day I can take a walk as well. My oldest son lives in California where weather is just so darn beautiful and predictable. I'm so tempted....

I'm in Texas and although it's warm, it's raining nearly every day. I'll be glad when the rain goes away so I can enjoy some outdoor activities.

Here in the plains of South Dakota, the temp will get to a whopping 32 degrees today. Gets down into the teens at night. This past weekend, we got three inches of snow TWICE. If you love variety, this is the place. I can smell Spring coming in air though!!

Here in South Jersey, yes; I'm a "jerzeygirl" and proud of it, but hate the weather. It's cold and it's been the rainiest February in history, lucky us! I am going to Florida on vacation soon and am looking forward to the sunny 70-80 degree weather with a pool and hot tub. I will retire soon and my husband and I are looking to move to Cape Coral as I developed Reynaud's Syndrome after surgery and am cold all the time, I mean finger numbing like frostbite cold. It makes my bones ache and winter is not so pleasant for me and as I age I'm fearful that it will really kick my butt so off to a warmer climate and bigger adventures.

I love to walk, fast and far, so Florida will provide me with the opportunity anytime I want. During the winter here, I tend to be too sedentary and that's not good for metabolism and it's also not great for my immune system. I can see why "seniors" move to Florida, it's cheaper than NJ, but than mostly anywhere is, it's friendly to seniors, health care is good, and it has more opportunity to age gracefully in places that are warm and sunny. Remember, vitamin D is very important for bariatric patients as well as seniors.

Good question and opened the door for getting to know other's environment which plays a big part in successful outcomes of bariatric surgery

jerzeygirl -- I'm so glad you're moving to Florida. Sounds like a much better place for you, all around.

And here in the American Midwest it's beautiful blue skies with 60 degree Fahrenheit temps. Gorgeous, really. But not to worry -- it'll snow again soon. Alternating with freezing rain. And floods. And tornadoes. And beautiful 80-degree days.

After all, it's spring in the American Midwest.

Another Texan here. We saw the sun yesterday and it peeked out a bit today. Otherwise it has been rain, rain and more rain. It is supposed to rain more within the hour. Australia is on our bucket list of places to visit! It looks so beautiful.

Oh I missed all of these wonderful replies from my old thread!!! The weather today is a little chilly and raining but was hot as yesterday! Darwin has had a cyclone so handy we didn't go up last weekend, it looks a bit like a war zone. It's okay with us a bit farther south in Queensland but we have had a fair bit of rain and some flash flood warnings. That's Aussie for ya!
Well might as well carry on 25.3C today so I'm a bit chilly and rain and staying like that till Sunday when it will suddenly be 32C for fun! :-)

I live in northern Ohio but spend February and March on St Simons Island, Georgia. It is 58* with a high today in the mid 60s. Having breakfast, turkey bacon, one egg, coffee and of course my vitamins. Then it is off to play golf. I now walk when I play so I'll get a nice 5 mile walk in.

Missouri where it doesn't feel like spring. I did get to break out the shorts for a while on spring break in the south, but now it's back to my down vests.
