Had my surgery Sept 28, 2016, it's been ten weeks and I have never felt this good. The weight is still dropping off, I can't believe how much I have lost. All my clothes are so big and baggy. I recommend this surgery to anyone and everyone. My life and health had changed so much. Thank you so much Dr. Almanza for a job well done. I'm so excited to see where my journey takes me in the next couple of months. After I get to my goal weight I will go back to Mexico for a tummy tuck. Good luck, get healthy and live life.

Depending on whether your insurance will cover your surgery and whether you're wanting to have surgery in the U.S. or Mexico will determine where to research.

You mentioned you have a Dr in mind. Google their name to find out if they're associated with a Bariatric Group. When I started my research, I googled bariatric surgery in my area, attended seminars, and made my decision from all the research I gathered.

Thank you for your info, I'm pretty dead set in doing this. I know a couple people that went to Mexico and it's been great success. I talked to my pcp and she is re-submitting it here in the US as I have different ins now, so will see if it's denied or not they really only approve you if your a diabetic and I'm on my way but don't want to get too that point. Right now it's either get the weight off our I won't live another 30 years. I have had a weight issue all my life and I'm just ready to gets this procedure and make changes to live healthy

Thank you for your reply and yes I finally called the agent and got it set up, my surgery date is Sept 28, I'm so excited. So the agents call me every day to pay the 250.00 deposit and I have told them I am paying it on payday but they keep calling. Did you pay that deposit as well?

Yes , paying the deposit probably locks in your date. I had a great experience with Dr Almanza in TJ.

Thank you for replying, I'm so excited I can't stand it. Finally I will be able to do so many things but most of all be healthy and not struggle to even get my shoes on. I will check in more often. Thanks again and congrats on all the weight loss.
