First of all I want to say I love this site. I get so much motivation hearing from all of you. My journey began way before surgery . I lost 112 pounds befor my surgery and was so excited to have surgery cause I just knew that the sleeve would make it so much easier. In the beginning it was easier. Now I'm almost 3 months out and I see old habits creeping up and that scares me to death. I was born and raised in a state that is known for its food (Louisiana). For entertainment we went "out to eat". In the beginning after surgery I was very careful about what went into my mouth. Now I've somewhat slacked about my choices. I am also a cook at a family owned restaurant as well so that makes it even harder to be strong. This week I have decided that I am going to be strong and do the right things because 30 pounds in 3 months is not enough in my opinion. And when I say making bad choices I'm not talking about stuffing myself I'm mean more like.... I have to bake a cake everyday at work and I want to lick the bowl... Or nibble on crumbs. I know this behavior will put the weight right back on me. I have noticed that my biggest problem is nighttime hunger. I stay busy every morning and I don't have time to eat much. Then once I get home and sit down I get hungry. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me get back on track.... I cherish every one of your opinions.
Thank you for listening just didn't know where else to turn.
