I was told at my 2 week check up that I could drink wine. I wasn't told I had to choose white over red, but that's just what I prefer. I can't drink as much as I used to. At first a couple of glasses...

I was told at my 2 week check up that I could drink wine. I wasn't told I had to choose white over red, but that's just what I prefer. I can't drink as much as I used to. At first a couple of glasses...
I still have swelling. I read it can take up to 3 months to go down. I didn't have any drains either. I can't make that out. I can stand straight now and can definitely see a difference. My swelling...
I had my TT with lipo 24th Sept. I had a lot of pain afterward and today is the first day i can stand straight upright without feeling it pull. How far does your incision go? Mine travels from half...
I had my surgery beginning of December and seem to have days where I graze. I do know that I can definitely eat more these last couple of months, although each day differs. Im not sure why, but one...
It' seems to happen to most of us. I'm 5 months out and my hair is coming out too. Apparently it's common and grows back. My hairdresser told me that he's known it to happen to people losing a large...
I haven't read all the post santy has put, but I reckon it will give you all you need to know about your post op diet. I was liquid for 2 weeks and then soft purée foods for 2. My surgeon said that...
Thats so lovely to read. Congratulations on your success. I can't wait to get to my goal
I have just read your last entry, so came along to see what you were talking about. I noticed that this thread was started earlier today and just wanted to say that not EVERYONE is on the site at the...
I can relate to your post so much. Well done. I love my sleeve too and am so glad I had the surgery.
Well done. That's brilliant. I'm having to fight now too. The wk has been hard and rubbish food has crept in, so I've stayed the same. I need to give myself a telling off and start behaving again....
Well done. I know how you feel now your goal is insight and doable. I'm gradually nearing mine and totally love my sleeve too. :)
Congratulations on the 65lb loss btw. That's brilliant :)
I asked a surgeon what is the most you can stretch the new stomach if bad. He said its between 3 and 5% every 5 years.........doesn't seem so bad to me. I think we all stop eating once we feel full...
Yes. You can still do it. Stick to protein shakes and nothing else but water. Youll still be able to shrink your liver in time, but you definitely need to start fresh. There would be nothing worse...
Congratulations. You can see a big difference. I love my sleeve too :)
I had my surgery 6th December and can definitely drink loads. I used to drink a coffee and it would be cold before i could finish it, but now its gone way quicker. Some days I seem to be able to eat...
What did you do to get the scales moving again? Congratulations on your great progress btw
You seem to be following the same pattern of most sleeves. Your hitting your first stall, where your body catches up with the weightloss. Don't worry about it. You'll be losing inches and then the...
That's so nice to read. I've experienced the same....not losing weight, but getting into smaller clothes. I guess it really does happen. :)
I think you are mistaking the acid pains for hunger ones. Early on, your new stomach is swollen and sore. This gives the feeling of hunger pains. It's the acid and inflammation. I still get that...
You're not on your own here. I have the same issues too! I read about everyone following by the book and think to myself....why can't I be like that too? I've been eating nornal foods for a while now...
Well done. I love my sleeve too:)
Well done. Isn't the sleeve brilliant. I love it
Congratulations Michael. That's brilliant. I can't wait to say I'm at goal :)
One word. Jealousy. Obviously that person wasn't the friend you
Thought they were. Our true friends are happy to see we're happier with ourselves.
