It's been 18 years since I've been in onederland. I was near tears.
LOL, I'm with you. Annoying!!!!
Diet Coke was my water. I quit cold turkey the day I started my pre-op liquid diet and did not look back. Two months now with no carbonation whatsoever. That's a really big deal for me. And I...
If you become dehydrated, you will be more nauseated. Try to hydrate the best you can.
I did not exercise during pre-op diet. Wished I had, but like you did not have the energy. I am now and it really does help move things along.
Girl, I'm right there with you. I have upper gas, lower gas, you name it, I got it.
Unjury unflavored protein. You can mix in anything. For soups, etc, make certain temperature does not go over 140 degrees. https://www.unjury.com/unjury-unflavored-protein-container.html
I felt the exact same way you did after day one, especially because I could not find a shake I liked. But, after a few days, it was such a routine.
Pam, that is awesome. You are an inspiration for a newby like myself!
Welcome to the group and congratulations for taking control. It's never too late. I'm 57 and have finally taken control. I have a long way to go but I'm way ahead more than I have ever been. You...
I cried on my surgery day up until they put me under. The surgery team was so sweet, tears were streaming down my face and the whole time they patiently held my hand and squeezed my shoulder, and...

Surgery of this nature can be scary and there can be complications. These boards are for people who have questions and concerns in addition to celebrating successes. So please don't make those who...
I'm fairly new and just wanted to say thanks for posting. It's great seeing someone succeed and continue to succeed.
I was 8 pounds heavier when I got home after surgery and was also freaking out. Within 2 days all the fluid was gone and I was back on track.
So happy for you. My experience was just about the same as yours! The journey continues.
I just had the procedure on April 5th. I will be 57 on April 23rd. I cannot imagine there would be any sort of age limitation on the procedure unless you were a poor candidate for any type of...
Christie,
What was the first real food you ate when you got to that stage? I am so looking forward to a scrambled egg I can hardly stand it. LOL
I am on the post surgery full liquid diet and feels like I am hungry all the time. Is this normal? I'm sure that one of the reasons is because I am not getting in all my protein. Advice,...
I am so jealous, lol. I've yet to poop. Going to try something tomorrow to try and get things moving.
Premier is the one I'm using. i have gotten down one whole shake a day. I'll try for 2 today.
Good luck. Praying for a successful, non-eventful surgery and recovery!
Cream soup is in my day 3-14 stage of full liquids. I make sure they are the fat free kind or 98 percent fat free, dilute with skim milk, and they have been a blessing this week.
We are surgery buddies. I had mine on the 5th also. Finally all the water weight disappeared as of today. I like you am not getting in all the protein. I'm getting in one shake a day over the...
