First you need to talk to your Dr. about this. Second it could be that you still may have some swelling in there. What are you drinking and eating exactly and how much?
I slept on my side about the 4th night post op. I would switch postions every few hours though.

You need to remember if someone see's you everyday it's harder to notice a difference right away. Give it time and hang in there.
GEt some gas ex strips and walk it off
You need to get you potassium checked ASAP!
I don't see how anyone could diagnose this without seeing you and they need to be a medical professional. You need to see your Dr.
Gym is good and the bike and treadmill would be great. AS far as the weights I don't know much about them so I would ask someone liek a trainer to start you on a program for your weight and age.
I was in a size 6 in 2005 :) and have gone as high as 18. I'm in a 12 now. I really don't have a DREAM size I just want to be and stay healthy. A 12 or 10 is fine with me.
Walk..start off slow and 10 minute at a time. Try doing this twice a day and add a few minutes on everyday.
Yes it's normal
What are you on the pureed or mushy stage?
My husband let me rest when needed and I didn't cook, clean, or do laundry for a week.
I can eat 1/2 cup of macroni if it is cooked really soft. It is very filling.
