You have to remember your weight isn't that high-it took me 8 months to reach my 60 pound goal-it was slow and steady after 2 months-personally I think your on track-it will come off-dont worry
Thought I'd share for those that are still deciding to do this or not-I finally reached my goal-so happy-i think the best part is that this the first time I haven't gained weight back-it keeps coming...
I know they do it in red deer but again a long wait time..it took me a month from deciding to be sleeved-Dr alvarez was amazing! If u want more details let me know!
Yes there are afew but wait time is 6 months or more-i went to mexico within a month of deciding paid 8900-i received 1400 back from alberta health care and the rest for income tax time-im 4 pounds...
yes the size does matter...Dr. Alvarez uses a 32 bougie...which seems perfect for me!.some use more conservative...bigger up to 44 (which means a larger stomach)...i agree you need to ask this...
Almost 6months out-i can eat pretty much whatever I want but just the amount is restricted-you do feel better after about 4 months-more 'normal' . There are times that were hard to get used to but...
is it weird after surgery i had my blood work done and now I'm borderline hypothyroidsim?? ive had my levels checked before surgery and they were fine but now they changed??
Love this response! I'm getting close to my goal weight and thought everything would be great-i feel better-but it doesnt cure the other issues-i still have to figure out the other areas of my life!
I think dehydration was what caused mine-drink lots! Do the pinch test on the back of your hand-if your skin doesn't bouce back or is very slow you're dehydrated!
Yes I agree..use $ to get back to canada where our public health system is free..surgery is paid for (I just didn't want to wait! So paid for it myself!)

i had surgery with dr. alvarez and chose him over the other doctor because of the the hospital stay and all of the extra support/websites that dr. alvarez seemed to be on the ball with..not saying...
I didnt have one either but my sister did when she had it done with a different doctor-I think its personal preference of the doctor-drains are not that big of deal ( i had them for another surgery)...

My hubby and 3yr old daughter still love going once in awhile-i have split the kids burger happy meal with my 3yr old and there is still leftovers-so no worries you won't physically be able to eat...
My surgeon said that there may be times when we need to go back on it periodically because of sleeve. He said for a few weeks then check it out.this could happen weeks or months after sleeve.
