    I did mine just before xmas so I had my family xmas dinner 4 days before my surgery. It shouldn't be a problem as long as you stick to the clear liquid diet before your surgery.

    I was lucky to have done mine over xmas when I had a little over 2 weeks off. I was glad to have had the extra time to recuperate etc...but I probably could have gone back after a week if I had to....

    Generally at your stage you want to focus on protein and water intake. But, if you're not feeling well you should visit your doctor or a nutritionist. Good luck
