I'm from Central Jersey! Nice to meet ya!
I did so well in the beginning. In the first 8 weeks I was down 30 lbs. But in the past month (I'm a week away from three months now) I've only lost 5 lbs. Is a stall around the 2nd to 3rd month...
That is awful that you had to go through that! What kind of parents condone this behavior from their children? Wow. How disgusting! You are doing great in my opinion. 68 pounds gone is nothing...
I feel the same way. So just know that you're not alone, if that makes you feel any better. I'm so freaked out thinking I'm not gonna reach my goal. All I can do is keep chugging along, eating the...
Sounds normal to me. Don't worry. It gets much better, wait till you are a month, two months out.
I'm so sorry you're going through this. Some people just don't understand. Hang in there.
It gets better. You'll soon start noticing weight coming off and you will feel better too. Hang in there. It really does get better.
Wow! You look great! Congrats and keep up the good work!
I can relate. I've been slipping up on my food choices too. I got back to a structured eating plan this week. I know that at the point I am now, if I hadn't been sleeved I would've gained weight...
Congratulations!!!!
Good Luck tomorrow!!! The nerves are normal. I was very nervous the day before too. Keep us posted.
Yea, I had a c-section and it is kind of the same type of pain but higher and with added discomfort in your belly (gas mostly). I was in pain longer w/the c-section. I was hurting for more than a...
Sorry to hear that you're having a rough time. I hope you feel better soon. I noticed that you go to the same surgeon I do. Dr. Noyan did my surgery.
Hi Amy! You'll find lots of info and good people here.
I had a hiatal hernia repaired during my surgery but we didn't know it was there until he was starting my procedure. You'll do fine. The relationship you and surgeon have sounds great.
Good luck to you! The time till surgery is going to fly and before you know it you'll be sleeved!
I had the same thing. Walk as much as you can and fter a few days you'll feel better.
Bilby - that is exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you.
So, we've been having a string of bad luck (hubby lost job is the big one) and today I realized that I'm starting to slip into my old ways. I ate so bad today. Not so much quantity of food but what...
How you feel is exactly how I felt the days before my surgery! Even the first week after surgery I still felt like that. I think it's very normal!
Congratulations! Good luck to you!
I didn't have a pre-op diet. All I needed to do was a clear liquid diet the day before. All doctors are different. What's important is to follow the instructions of your own doctor.
That's great! Congratulations!
Maybe look up some work out videos on YouTube? I've just been walking and I know at some point I'm going to need more than just walking but I can't afford to join a gym.
