    We eat out at Chilis a lot. I eat from my husbands plate, talapia, chicken dishes, leave off the rice, sub black beans ...works for me. I dont feel as though I am missing anything.

    I got a bunch of the "sample" littel plastic spoons from the deli.... they work really well to make sure I eat small bites, just a tip that works for me :)

    Debbie.. I tried those shots... oh my they were horrible, couldnt even get it past the lips, BUT I mixed with a 2 qt pitcher of water and was able to drink it throughout the day.

    I drank a lot of warm chicken broth during my pre op time, it kept me feeling fuller longer. I microwaved it at work and kept it on my desk like coffee.

    I was on Metformin and a shot of Victoza daily, the surgeon sent me home without any medicines usage, its been 10 days, normal blood sugars each day.......
