I don't know if it will help or hurt you. I posted about my experience with Dr. Almanza doing my sleeve. I had some friends worry as well, especially while I was there and my cell phone didn't work.

I scheduled my flight for 230 we got to the airport at 1130 ( I took the 10:30 car back to San Diego) That way I wasn't rushed. I know of others that had 5pm flights.
