The whole...
Oh I did! It was the day after surgery when I had to drink little sips and had a load of pain with it but after a few hours I was ok again. Have been expecting the feeling to return as its always...
You're so lucky! I'm only 3 weeks out but have tried puréed cottage pie and puréed duck which didn't sit well at all! I find I'm really missing toast (though only in the mornings when I make it for...
So sorry to hear that babypom, I wish you all the luck in the world with your treatment. Sounds like you had a fab holiday! Congrats on your weight loss. Take Care x x x

I'm 2 1/2 weeks out and am at a stall. Thanks to this forum and all you guys, I'm not letting it bother me. I've just started on the puréed stage (enjoying food rather than liquid!) I'm sure it'll...

Hi, I'm 2 weeks on Thursday and boy can I not wait to get off this bloody liquid diet! I'll be interested to see the recipes for the puréed stage x
You're doing great Hun! I found the first few days a struggle and kept thinking 'what if it doesn't get better' but it really does. Every day gets easier. Keep your chin up x
No catheter for me although I didn't need to pee for hours and hours after surgery, once I popped I couldn't stop though! X
Well done. You look fab! X
I'm on 2 weeks liquid, 2 weeks puréed, 2 weeks soft then gradually introduce normal food. Still on liquid at the minute - can't wait for the next stage!!!! X
I'm a smoker and actually started smoking the day I got out of hospital, although I have cut down from 20 a day to now maybe 5 a day. My doc knew I smoked and although didn't tell me I should start...
Wow! Well done x
Thanks guys, I totally get the leg thing dribblerone! Drives me nuts. I can't really sleep during the day as I have 2 little boys (start school next week) think I'm gonna take a sleeping pill tonight...
I can't sleep and it's driving me mad! I was wide awake until 6.45am this morning, it was 5am the morning before! My mood is shot today. Feeling miserable, tired and cranky. Anyone else suffer this? X
Well done x
I would class myself as having a high pain tolerance. The day of surgery I had no pain at all - probably cos of all the drugs! The day after was painful, not excruciating pain or anything more...
No not at all Hun, I flew back home last night and didn't beep going through the machines! X
I'm also a Uk sleever although I didn't go through NHS and paid privately. I didn't know you could claim back from NHS. I'd say good luck - you may need it x
Good luck, thoughts are with you x x x
