Thanks everybody ^^^^ :)
Just do it...and don't worry on it...my advice. I stayed in the states for my surgery, but was going south before I decided on a doc in oregon. You'll be fine :)
Oh...and welcome to the site! Best...
Wow...over a year out now. Unreal. It's been great and I'd do it all over in a heartbeat. This saved my life, no doubt. Anybody on the fence about surgery, or worried about their upcoming...
Actually, a high protein diet accompanied with low carb is what you, me, all of us need. High protein such as shakes in the beginning is an essential key to healing correctly. Protein aids in skin...
I'm almost a year out...if I recall, I couldn't lift more than 20 or 25 lbs for 6 weeks...something like that. Although I felt totally fine after like 2 weeks out, I had to adhere to my Dr's...
Get your water intake and protein in with protein shakes. It's a challenge, but possible and very doable. Sorry about the clot, man. You regret right now, but you had to do something to change your...
Ehh...those are kind of high in carbs...at least the ones I've seen. Body fortress powder and skim milk...lower than those and decent.
Up your water and protein....by a lot. You literally need to be drinking all damn day to get it in at 1st. Choose ways to get protein in wisely....like Greek yogurt with powdered protein in it. You...
I'm almost a year out...I've never had an issue. At 1st my issue was dry meat like chicken breast...never had an issue with spicy :) and I'm glad!
Know that you can get seriously hurt right now if you eat what you shouldn't. Don't do it...tape up pictures that you hate of yourself so that you are reminded of why you did this surgery in the 1st...
Damn...sorry about the stone. I've never had to pass one, but I've seen plenty of family members struggle with them. Glad you're feeling better!
Welcome...you'll do fine. This surgery is a walk in the park. Beat of luck!
Yeah, like she said^^^losing is better than gaining. Ask yourself...have you ever gained 17.5 lbs in a month? Probably not. Not heavy overnight....not skinny overnight. Chin up. :)
17 grams of carbs is way too much. Look at another brand. Body fortress from w mart. ..30 grams of protein, like 8 grams of carbs. What I've used. Weight flew off on it. :)
No, you won't have to wait a couple of months. I drove a couple of hours back home about a week after surgery. No problems. I think after 2 days, it's not even an issue. But, everyone's pain is...
Awesome, Julie!
welcome welcome!!
Happy 4 ya, girl ;)
Just mix it up. I road tripped yesterday and packed a cooler w water and shakes. Had 2 shakes...ate dinner. Some days, I'll sub out 1 meal, sometimes all. Some days, no shakes.
Digging the positive energy! Keep it up!
Other than the hives....I'm glad it's went good for ya. :)
Awesome!
1 month pre op through a month post op.
Brutal. :)
