    Re: Anyone else feeling discouraged

The weight comes off as you continue to do what you're doing. It's hard to realize that one of the most impactful changes of the sleeve is when you eat correctly and less, this time weight comes...

Re: So nervous to have the surgery!

    Re: Before/After Pics

I don't care about my photos being up long or short, although I have posted them.

Many of you have seem my highest weight (240), and me at half that weight. I'm still intrinsically the same soul...

    Re: New Journey, New Support.

I do keep a water bottle (a lovely cherry red one) near me all day -- I sometimes put some lime (since sleeve can't tolerate lemon) in it -- because water just gets boring some days.

    I talk it on...

    Re: Dizzy Dame

What Kenyon and Sharon shared is what I've experienced. Except I did have one episode of actual vascular syncope that was just a random one-off. Otherwise dizzy is usually hydration for me.

Re: Vision - 5km races, Triathlons. Anyone?

Agree with "just count protein, high quality carbs and water". I wouldn't deliberately "stretch" my stomach -- it will regulate itself.

Yes, at 3 years I can eat a bit more - but with that said,...

    Re: Vaping after gastric sleeve

Agree with Sraebaer - ask your surgeon and your doctors; most of us are not medical professionals so what we think or believe is just our opinions.

    Re: side effects

I was sleeved 10/2017 and my health and stamina has gradually improved to a very normal level, where I certainly hadn't been in many years.

For me it was a solution! I am very careful about...

Re: Gastric Sleeve post op 4 weeks

You're doing well! Just follow the program. And eating small amounts at a time, even if you space them out, helps your stomach heal. Best! Keep posting.

Re: Sleeve July 3 - Gerd

Hey folks. Just checking in. Lots of life going on for all of us but the board seems mighty quiet.

Re: Gastric sleeve: record of weight loss

It took about 6 months for me to hit goal, then dropped too low, and now stable for about 3 years.
It's a learning process; trust the tool; protein, vegetables, water water water :)
  24. Re: Weight gain, almost 3 years out and alcohol

Kim, its easy to let anything creep up on you in your life, and transfer addiction is spot on.

    Re: Getting There

I do weigh every day, but its not as disturbing as it once was -- I think if we hid it (along with the 1,000s of other things we can't find) the scale would be gone!
