Re: Alcohol While on Pre-Op Diet

To be honest, I partied on 6/8 and drank ridiculously until 5am on 6/9. My surgery date was 6/11, and I passed. But ALL SURGEONS ARE DIFFERENT! BE CAREFUL!
  2. Re: My calorie intake cannot stay so low for so long

Sorry for the misread. You've got a very good point. Thanks for clarifying that. I'm super stoked that our company gym is reopening tomorrow.
  3. Re: My calorie intake cannot stay so low for so long

I'm not sure a starvation diet is healthy and wouldn't that lead to malnutrition. I'm aiming for a lifetime of healthy eating, not starvation. It would be detrimental in the long run to do something...
  4. Re: Stitches Undone. Not the read for the weasily queazy.

I'll stock up on butterfly bandages and walk it out until my incision heals! Thank you all!

  6. My calorie intake cannot stay so low for so long

I'm almost 2 weeks out and still on full liquids and soups and protein shakes with pulverized (Nutribullet) fruits. There is no way in Hell-er that I can maintain a 600-800 calorie daily intake....
  7. Re: Stitches Undone. Not the read for the weasily queazy.

I did some researching and yeah, it's not that uncommon for the stitches to become undone. The common solution among my findings is to clean and bandage the wound. So I will continue to take it easy...

    lol!
  9. Re: Stitches Undone. Not the read for the weasily queazy.

I think I'm going to take it back to just walking until the incisions heal.
  10. Stitches Undone. Not the read for the weasily queazy.

I woke up this morning and as I got out of the shower I looked in the mirror and noticed that the incision where my drain was was bleeding. Upon closer observation I noticed that the would was not...

Re: Frustrated and I'm only 9 days out.

I'm now finding that a lot of people say to stay off the scale....ugh, I just feel like I'm not getting it when I see people posting that they can only eat 2 tablespoons of soup and they're full, and...

Frustrated and I'm only 9 days out.

Yesterday I put in 650 calories and I thought I did a great job until I read that some people were only consuming 300 calories at this stage post sleeve. My carb intake, sodium, and fat intake is...

  21. Re: One week out and I have nutrition questions

Thank you guys so much! I don't have a nutritionist or a dietician :/ but I have been making sure to keep a close eye on my fat/protein/carb/sodium intake. I guess I'm going to have to stick to...

  23. One week out and I have nutrition questions

I'm not sure if I should be counting calories or something? I've been eating Campbell's Gourmet Soups and Imagine Organic Soups (about 1.5-2cups a day), drinking at least 75oz of liquids (Crystal...
  24. Re: 5 days Post-Op Update... crazy beautiful madness. And cheating. And lessons.
