Is it normal to lose a lot of hair every time I brush my hair the brush is so full hope it stops soon am I lacking something

I am properly asking for to much I had my op on the 16 th February had to go on pre op diet lost 15 kilos but now have come to a stale mate for a week have not lost anything :( is this normal
