My BW was 199lbs and the date of my surgery 10/22/2014 I weighed 193 lbs. I weigh 161 now. Some days I eat extra calories so the weight doesn't come off too fast.
So what do you do at Auburn.
Ok. I have BCBS through the State Gov level. I started my process in June and was sleeved by October. I was shocked that it wasn't a long process.
So do you have BSBC of GA or AL?
Hey Gail!
First of all let me start off by saying Dr. Turton is great!
My surgery was about 45 mins long and I stayed overnight. I already had my mind made up to have the sleeve done when I went...
I will say that after I began doing my research, I found that the Sleeve was a better procedure and it appeared that the people that were sleeved looked healthier months after being sleeved. Although...
NO!
I say "No" because I to once had these same feelings and thoughts. As I get closer to my surgery date.....October 22nd: rolleyes:, I have to bring everything into perspective mentally. At the...
I haven't been sleeved as of yet, but I can imagine that my confidence will increase because my clothes will look better on me and I will be able to purchase clothes as I did before without having to...
Hey Shawna,
It sounds like there may be some jealousy or even some envy there with those that you speak of. Sometimes we have to put a wall up to certain situations. But the one thing that you need...
Anyone with BCBS Alabama???
Try Steinmart and Dillard's also. That's where I get my Jeans.
The first person I have told....is one close friend after she revealed to me that she had the sleeve procedure. .I've known her since we were in high school in Germany over 20 + years and Idid not...
Yea!!!!!!!
I'll scream for you!
Thats great hopefully I'll have my date within the next monht or so. ;)
My husb and and I have decided that we will tell our immediate family members that I'm having my gallbladder removed. I have only confided in a few close friends that live in other states.
If you are going to incorporate an egg, I would recommend that its a boiled egg.. but I agree there are plenty of high protein shakes and supplements on the market to supplement your protein intake...
I would say two to three times a week for me.
A crock pot will be very useful at this stage. The longer the food cooks the more it will break down to the mushy stage...
I would recommend Avocado.
I just started mine today...I'll let you know how it does.
Ok..and what is
your height?
Can you share your method of payment for your procedure?
Lately yogurt and cereal
I have a question. ...what hapens to the staples from the sleeve procedure?
Okay. so in other words you had to pay out-of-pocket?
