Re: what things does your body do when youre full???

Hiccups. I have never vomited, or felt like I might vomit. I have occasionally had a feeling like I took one bite too many- just really full for a few minutes. Mostly, I just eat until I am no longer...

    Re: Carbonated beverages

I have had probably 15-20 diet sodas in the past 6ish months. I have had beer since 3 months post op with no side effects or slowing of weight loss. I have been at/under goal for awhile now.

Personally, I do not see anything wrong with his question. Per your original post, you had been sitting there for 45 minutes sipping on it. It seems reasonable to inquire about it at that point....

Re: I'm losing a lot of hair! 2 years out now.

To me, your diet looks to be lacking in protein. I aim for 100g of protein a day. Also, water. Lots of water.

    Re: Sad NSV?

I have had good luck in turning the onus of explaining back on to the person who is behaving inappropriately. I would say something like, "Wow, what would make you say something like that?" Or, just...

  12. Re: Oh no, I do have loose skin... Thought I didn't... Help!

Honestly, if it were ME, with what you described, I would not have plastics. As you said, that is not a position that you are in often and it is easily remedied bu wearing longer shorts. Plastics are...

That sounds scary, Kristen! I hope that you heal completely and quickly from this.

I developed a seroma(collection of serous fluid- like the water in a blister- between skin and muscle and it has...

Re: Gastric Sleeve Forum Members Poll

You can never prove that I clicked anything! ;)

But, seriously, where did the 'like' feature go?
  15. Re: I got off track. Need help getting back on the right path!

No worries- it happens. You will be sleeved for the rest of your life, and in that time, you are bound to make a bad decision or two. The important part is that you stop the snowball effect and get...

Re: Advice for Relatively Newly Sleeved VSG Folks ...

    Yep, Ann nailed it!

I do want to touch on one point. Stalls. What is a stall? Not losing today, when you normally drop a little each day is not a stall. A stall is 2-3 weeks of the scale not...

    Re: Just 14 more pounds

You look fabulous!!! Congrats on your success.

I think we have similar approaches in our diet and exercise regimen. I do work in any 'treats' that I want too. But, I keep them as the exception and...

Re: Doctors Office.... Someone help me understand

Your doctor is an asshole. He clearly is in over his head in trying to treat a GS patient. Save your pennies and pony up for a gastric sleeve surgeon. It will be well worth whatever you have to...

Re: 6 months post op and pregnant

If it were me, I would make it my job to drink all day long, increase my protein, and eat several small meals through the day. I would aim for at least 1500 calories per day. Drink shakes if need be...

Re: Fleur de lis vs lower body lift/tummy tuck

I think it depends on what your priority is. Do you want to have a completely flat stomach with all excess skin removed? If so, you may need a fleur de lis cut, as pulling down on the stomach skin is...
