I can only speak for myself. Life gets in the way sometimes. I am still out here, still doing, still reading, helping where I can. This forum really is an amazing place for support and...
Hi!
I thought I'd chime in. I'm only 9 months out, but EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED! I really want you to think about this. The best thing about the surgery for me IS the restriction. I pray it lasts...
If it's any help I have blue cross blue shield ppo. They said supplements (shakes) are considered food so not covered. I count all that stuff as part of the sleeve expense.

I'm going to sound like a spoiled whiny brat but here it goes....
My weight loss has slowed down quite a bit. I only lost 6 pound last month as compared to over 10 pounds every other month. I know I...

Oh Tinman how I love to read your responses. I am a true believer and sporting a huge loss to prove it. I follow the protein, water, exercise rules (working on the vites) and have a little of...

Hello Fellow Sleevers,
I am taking a moment for myself this morning to announce that I hit 100 pounds lost today! 100 pounds of misery, gone! Here's what I've gained... shopping at Old Navy and the...
Hello!
I'm only 5 months out, but at this stage in the game I'd do this surgery over again everyday all day. It was a defining moment in my life. I took charge and I'm in control. I don't know...
Very interesting. I still maintain that no doctors seem to agree on the stretching of the sleeve issue. The one thing everyone does agree on is protein as our main staple.

Congratulations! You look wonderful!!! I can't even imagine how good that must feel!

I thought awkward stage was for the pre-teens. Glad you can understand and share my pain. I'd rather be a pear though, it's much closer to hourglass than a pumpkin.

hello everyone!
Please know that even though I don't post much (no time) I read the board and cheer you on daily!
My question- I'm losing very strangely. I'm a pumpkin shape and I'm losing in the...
i think you look beautiful. I've learned through this that it really isn't what others see, it's what we see. People can tell me all day long that I'm looking good and I still see the woman who needs...
Ha ha ha! I'd give anything for a "great ass babe" Good man! Thanks for the morning laugh
Hi!
I was just at the doctor and he told me that in all of his years of doing this surgery he has only seen someone "eating through the sleeve" once and it was an EXTREME situation of psychological...
Hi! I think we all had a hard time during liver shrink phase. Hunger brings out the worst in everyone. I can tell you that I also used food for comfort as most sleevers did and post-op it isn't an...
