I'm 24lb above my goal weight and I've lost and gained the same 2lb for the past month!
Wow that's great. I started at around 270lb so very near you and have lost 100lb in 2 weeks short of a year since my op so can appreciate the wow factor you're feeling. Keep up the good work.
Good luck.
I used to go in our gym when I was heavier but just don't have the time now as have a 8 month old granddaughter that we look after a lot in between working and with the stress of that and tiredness...
Well I'm almost 100lb lighter and in 14 days it will be one year since the op. I've not been to the gym or done any exercise as I've had shingles flu, several chest infections and now pneumonia! But...
I chose the sleeve so that I didn't have dumping syndrome or have to take tons of supplements for the rest of my life. I'm only 6 months post op and have now lost just over 5 and a half stone. I...
I have heard of some going alone. And I'm sure they were fine but they didn't have any bad after effects. Me on the other hand was quite ill after so was grateful for my husband being there.
Make your own protein shake. Skimmed milk powder, milk, and sugar free crusha or sugar free jelly crystals for taste.
Well done!
I told no one except a good friend/work colleague as her daughter had it done just before Me and obviously my husband who came with me. I've then told my family just after the op as I didn't want...
Wow what a transformation! Well done! I too can now run up steps in stores rather than use the lift and I gave so much more energy now. Well done you.
I was told to not eat anything sweet. Could eat anything else but no alcohol. Two weeks before. And my liver was then very small and no problem. Hope that helps.
Wow! 9 1/2 stone! Well donedone! And welcome the newbies and hood luck x
I'm 7 months post op and I started losing handfuls of hair on a daily basis from just after month 3. Luckily I gad extremely thick hair. My hairdresser noticed it and said most of the baldness is...
Drink up to just before eating but don't drink once you start eating as you won't fit both in and it'll also wash it through your stomach quicker and you'll feel hungry quicker. Hope that helps?
Eat little and often. 5 meals. By the time I got to where you are now, I was back on solids. Eat protein bars and chicken. And some veg, and drink homemade protein shakes. I've lost just over 5...
Count it from when you started losing weight.
Not enough food. I'm 6 months out and eat twice that and losing 2lb on average every week. I stalled for two weeks then lost 5lb the next week. Eat more.
Hi. Brilliant. Lovely Dr. Even did a visit to the hotel as I was quite poorly after the op from the anaesthetic. Good luck xx. I've lost just over 5 stone so far. If you're staying at the hotel...
Hi. I did no research and decided on the spur of the moment to book surgery. One month later I had it done. The first three weeks were hell as i was really ill but since then I've not looked back. ...
Excellent. Thank you for sharing this.
Hi. I've lost 60lb in 5 months and not one person at work has noticed or commented. I was 267 and now weigh 207lb.and I was in 26-28 size tops and now 18 yet no one has noticed. I look smaller and...
I've started to eat a little more for the past week, still not drinking enough (about 30 instead of the 60+) but upped my protein to the required 80gms and have lost 4lb this week compared to the...
