  1. Re: Carbonated beverages 6 months + after surgery?

I think the ability to tolerate carbonated beverages varies person to person. For me, carbonation doesn’t agree with me so I don’t drink it. The only way to know is try it.

    Re: Frustrated

I’m guessing you aren’t eating enough regular food. 800 calories at 3 months out seems a bit low. Get your fluids in and increase your calories some and see if that helps

  6. Re: O.T. need help with translation English-Spanish

Did you try arandano agrio or or arandano rojo?

    Re: Breakfast Anyone?

Breakfast can be anything. Mine is eggs and some leftover protein (steak, bacon). Cream of wheat gives you iron and fiber, add some peanut butter and you have fat and protein.

    Re: Help!

my opinion, if what you're doing isn't working (i.e. stall) change what you're doing. Track your food to see exactly how much protein you're getting, drink more water, change exercise routine,...

What a great story and the benefits of taking care of yourself, allowed you to take care of other folks in their time of need. These are the best non-scale victories. Great job ;)

    Re: Stagnant and Getting Frustrated

What food do you eat on a typical day? Try to eat real protein instead of the bars (eggs, turkey, chicken, tuna, etc). I started walking the day after surgery and haven't looked back.
