She's doing well, happy she's able to eat and keep things down. Mashed potatoes last night, eggs this morning. Now her friend showed up from Ohio without her knowing (yay me for arranging it) so...

Oh she also had 2 strictures. She's had no problems today and even had some soft foods like eggs which she couldn't have before. No nausea, and no vomiting so far. Fingers crossed

So they did a hida scan of my wife's gallbladder and it only has an 11% output, which is really low. So it was her gallbladder all along. Thanks to the new doctor for ordering this test. Surgery...

Yeah. I know this isn't common.but gd its annoying. She cries and I can't help her. I'd gladly trade places if I could.

So she has aspiration pneumonia which was caused by all the vomiting, I found an old thread on here through a Google search and wouldn't you know it sounds very similar to my wife's issues. Shes now...

Now she has a really high fever, hope its not related to all of this

So wife has been home since Thursday evening. All tests are normal so they think it's just due to her not taking small sips and being slow with her eating. :shrug:

OK brief update gallbladder is fine, upper gi was much improved from the last one. Still no idea what's wrong.

The bizarre thing is the restriction part she had issues with seem to be fixed like it was supposed to. The vomiting doesnt seem to be coming from eating/drinking

Going back to the hospital today, probably going to stay a couple of days until they figure out the issue. She's now throwing up without even eating anything and now my in-laws are leaving to visit...

OK so my wife seems to have no issues getting things down, but now hours after she eats she's still throwing up a brownish/acidic fluid. Doctor said could be her gallbladder failing, to anyone have...

Discharged, was able to eat and keep down oatmeal which she hasn't been able to do since she had it done. That's a great sign.

Back in the hospital, they are going to do another egd and try and stretch her opening. If this doesn't work I believe a revision to bypass is next, which funny enough is what my wife originally...

Today taking the reglan every 6 hours didn't work...
