I am almost 60 (in a month). I had gastric sleeve six years ago and now my doc is suggesting gastric bypass for the reflux and because I have gained some of my weight back. I’m interested in what...
My surgeon recommended the sleeve, but now, six years later, I have so much trouble with acid reflux and I have also gained back a lot of my weight. My internal medicine doc told me last week that...
You do not suck. You are human. I am right there with you, girlfriend. I am nearly 5 years out now. I had originally lost nearly 76#, and over the past 3 years, had gained back 62 pounds. I have...
I am 2+ years out and I can tell you..."this too shall pass."
Thank you all for your support. I wouldn't have gotten this far without each and every one of you! {{{HUGS!!}}}
It is truly the best thing I have ever done for myself. I hope you are as happy with your surgery as I have been with mine. Good luck on your journey!
I have not been one of the "speediest" losers since my sleeve surgery last October 23, but it has been a slow and steady journey. I finally hit "One-derland", and couldn't be more thrilled. My...

Yep! I agree! Go for it! :)
I had my sleeve on October 23rd, 2012 and as of today, I am officially Overweight! YAY!!
I went from a BMI of 38.2 the first part of October, to 29.7 today. :D I have slowly but surely lost 59#,...

Like the wise people before me have said...
Don't panic or get discouraged.
Take a deep breath.
Try to sip, sip, sip more water.
Have patience. You are probably in the "dreaded 3rd week stall". ...
I bought baby spoons, and 1 cup glass bowls with lids from Pampered Chef. It takes a while to learn to "digest" just how small our new stomach's are! (NPI) My husband and I are very frugal and...
Just because we have VGS doesn't mean that we have to give up our lives, right? Everything in moderation. :) :)
Oh MY! Bless your heart, girl! You have really been through it! What an adventure you have had! I believe with all of my heart that you will look back and know that it was all worth the effort. I...
I can't add anything that these smart women above haven't already told you. I wasn't able to have any meats other than canned chicken and canned tuna for several weeks. Eggs are still hard for me...
WOOT WOOT FOR YOU!! That is fantastic! Congratulations on your weight loss! Wishing you the best as you continue on your new skinny life! :D
I used Miralax the first week after surgery, with the doctor's blessing. I mixed it with my Premier Protein drink and it worked like a charm. :)
Poop is a wonderful thing!!
