I know now I have a food addiction, specially to sugar. No I don't think every overweight or obese person does. My Mother in fact does not and has battled her weight her whole life. I am trying to...
I am going to be boldly honest here in the hopes that I get the support I need. I am 8 months out and I am failing! I have been struggling all summer! I have a good day followed by several days of...
I am considering trying the 5 Day Pouch Test. Wondering if the purpose of the test is to shrink the pouch or is it more about gaining control? For those that tried it were you successful? Also...
I was told 6-12 months. I did 6 months and surprisingly the insurance company approved. I know it seems like forever but you will weigh that much less when you have your surgery.
I have gotten more laxed with logging my food. You guys are right that I need to make it a point to do that and perhaps that will help.
This month has been bad. I have had a lot of stress and unfortunately turned to food. I knew sugar was crack and yet ate it anyway and now I continue to eat it! I do great for a few days and then...
WOW! That is awesome! Good for you!
I was down about 20. I remember at 5 weeks (down 24) feeling so discouraged that I created a post asking others how much weight they lost at that point. It will speed up:)
I was allowed to eat crackers at 2 weeks and toast at 6 weeks. Pasta was at 12. I do fine with crackers but breads and pasta fills me up quickly.
I tried Peanut butter at 3 months. I craved it and did fine. PB is one of my favorite foods in the world!
I was told no nuts for 6 months. I have been dying to have some too!
I was told not to eat protein bars for at least the first year. I have no idea why. I see a lot of people eat the bars that are less then a year out. When did you first try protein bars? I think...
My Dietician told me no nuts for at least 6 months. I can have peanut butter. I thought about buying some of the individual ones and keep them in my car.
I like the cheese but feel I need something to put it on. No nuts for 3 more months.
Do you snack other then protein shakes? If so what do you have? This seems to be my biggest issue lately and I don't know what to have or want something with carbs! It's especially a problem when I...
I noticed it shortly after my surgery for over a month. My hair seems to be back to its normal silky self now though.
no not drinking with my meals. I have been waiting a half hour before and after to drink.
I noticed people have a variety of things included with their signatures. Some have multiple tickers, others have typed info about the weight they started at, their heaviest, ect. How do you do...
You are so right Lea. I was told I can have beef and pasta at 3 months. I am very excited to try them both!
I had a big problem with eating too fast. Now I set the timer for a minute between each bite and I do fine!
As of 6 weeks I was told I could eat most fruits or veggies. I have to de-seed and remove the skin. I was told salads were fine as well. I am not able to eat celery or pineapple yet.
Thank You Leesooim! It is 2 teaspoons. How does a person eat 2 teaspoons of salad?? I thought I would doing alright with a couple Tablespoons!
