I still eat just as fast as I did before surgery. Sometimes it backs up and I can feel it before it all gets in my stomach but nothing that really hurts or makes me sick.

I chose my goal weight as 170 which is what I weighed when I got pregnant with my twins in 2000. Haven't seen that weight since. LOL
Just over 4 months post op and down 84 pounds since my first appointment with my surgeon. Best decision I ever made.

I got put into a gown, poked a few time because they couldn't get a vain, got sent up stairs to holding, got a nice cocktail and then wheeled off to the OR. Then I remember waking up to my husband...
So sorry to hear about your brother. I lost my dad 2 weeks before I was to start my pre-op diet and all I wanted to do was stuff my face to make all my feelings go away. Stay on track this time and...
I take a Centrum chewable twice a day.
My mom was diagnosed August 16, 2012 with Stage 4 Ductal Carcinoma. After invasive chemo, radiation and surgery we found out on August 28th 2013 that she is CANCER FREE!!!! Prayers are with you,...

First of all "Muscle does not weigh more than fat, any more than lead weighs more than feathers. A pound is a pound is a pound. Where the misunderstanding often comes in is that muscle is much more...
Good idea. I liked the page.
I'm 3 months out and I feel great. I was only nauseated at the beginning due to the pain meds. I've lost 49 pounds since surgery and I now pretty much anything (healthy) I want. I feel great and have...

Depends on your doc really. My surgeon just went over what he was going to do, made sure I had all my test results and labs and answered any questions I had.
I started at the gym at 6 weeks. Been going 3 days a week since. I do treadmill (walking and jogging), sometimes the elliptical, stationary bike and light weights.
I had one. Didn't get it out until the next day.
I had surgery on a Monday at 8:00 and went home Tuesday in the late afternoon. I took two weeks off work but could have went back in the middle of the 2nd week. I work the front end at a florist and...
You're looking fantastic. Keep it up!!!
I announced my decision on FB. :) I said that I was doing the surgery and if you had anything negative to say that I did not want to hear it. I am doing this for me and my health. If you want to...
My doctor said as long as they were smaller than an M&M then I could take them as soon as 3 days post op when I started taking my vitamins.
I only got "stopped up" after surgery and was on pain meds. I took a stool softener twice a day.
Here's to pooping!
OK, now you know we want to see a pic!! Congrats to you!
I personally was not trying to be condescending with sarcasm. I just don't understand how one can eat donuts, cookies and chips and then wonder why their weight loss is slow. You are not always going...
I'm no expert, and by no means am I trying to put you down, but chips, cookies and donuts? Really? That doesn't seem like a logical thing for a person 3 weeks post op to be eating. That may be a big...
I will not lie, I was miserable the first week. I was mourning food, something you may also do. But now, people eat around me and I don't care. I'm usually not even hungry. I still go out to eat and...
