    Re: Hello

Congratulations. I had the VSG on 1/26/2018 and have no regrets.

Why the lap band for your husband though? I am sure he has a reason...

Re: General question about food logging

I have been using the paid version of the LoseIt! app on my smartphone. I log my food, weight, and blood glucose. There is a free version that will do most everything I need. I went with the paid...

Re: I'm so confused, please help

Think of the sleeve as enforced portion control. Once you are healed you can eat pretty much anything you wish to eat, just in small quantities. I know I cannot eat very much and so I am smarter...

    Re: Ch Ch Ch Changes

Male pattern baldness for sure. She has never known me with hair. Her concern is the nosey people who have asked me about "being sick" when they have seen the massive we eight loss. She is right in...

    Re: Ch Ch Ch Changes

    Glenn,

About the sleep apnea. I have that as well and am hoping for a cure. How did you know when that was cured? Could you just tell a difference? How long did that take in the process?

    Thanks!

    Re: Ch Ch Ch Changes

She is very happy with the weight loss and the diabetes cure. I have been bald on the top since the day we met so shaving the rest should not be this big of a deal.

    Ch Ch Ch Changes

I shaved my head this morning. I am bald on top anyway and really don't like the poofy sides when it gets too long. I just needed a change and shaving it was just easy.

My wife does not like it....

    Re: Stomach Stretching

I have the same question. I can drink way more than I can eat. Trying to go slow because I do not want to stretch my sleeve.

    Re: Should I?

I would not do it until you are ready to commit. The pre-op diet is hard and I got through it because I was tired of being overweight and tired of diabetes medicine. I am 9 years older than you and...

    Re: Anyone else feeling discouraged

I am 4 weeks post op today and my scale has not moved even a little bit for 3 days now. I had read here about the "3 week stall" so was expecting it. It think it is that our bodies think we are...

    Re: Discouraged

I think 7 pounds in two weeks is really good. 1/2 a pound a day! Your body is still getting used to it's new stomach and probably freaking out that some famine must be going on, right?
