When I was in mexico there was a rumor that a super model was having the surgery . I bet this will be the wave of the future ... I guess only time will tell ... but at 42 years old maybe she is tired...

I started taking folic acid because I read it helps with iron absorption .... but I just read this article on Web MD ... and it does so much more .... here is link...

Hi! First ..have fun .. shop the day before surgery if you have time .. go down revolution. .. eat the broth at the hotel ..!! It's yummy!! Tip when you can ...a buck or two goes along way.. bring...

Bring everything with you ... we didn't know we were going to spend our entire time at the hospital.. we had gathered up all our stuff and left it at the nurses station at the hotel... then it...

I had very little hair loss ... always been a vitamin junkie ..but started taking 10,000 mcg of biotin the 4th week after surgery ... my surgery took only 20 minutes so I wasn't under very long...

You can ask to be surgery buddies .....I met my buddy here... we shared hotel room and then had a hospital room to ourselves! ! I am so glad that we did!!

I should mention that pre op ... I got headaches/migraines frequently ... post op ..almost 7 months out ... I have had two ... (except first week after surgery) :)

Were you a coffee/soda drinker? Make sure you are getting protein in .. I had horrible headaches/migraines post op .. usually went away after some protein shake or egg drop soup...

I liked premier protein the best ..chocolate and vanilla ...resealable top ..and available at Costco or Sams club .. don't buy lots of anything. .taste buds change! Good luck with your journey :)
