Three years post op and still maintaining a 90 pound weight loss. I set a goal this year to lose the last ten pounds. Plan on drinking more water, exercising more and snacking less between meals. I...
I had something similar happen to me. I was at my weight control center and we have a store where we can buy vitamins, supplements and food. I was asking about a protein shake and I was told those...
I am a walker. Running is not for me. I walked a half marathon last September. I didn't plan my nutrition beforehand. Big mistake. I was starving the entire race. I had some energy gels and it did...
Virtual high five! I walked a half marathon last September. It is a great accomplishment. You go girl!
Smiling with you. I am over a year out. You are right about holding yourself accountable. I had to deal with my mental issues before I had surgery. I still see my therapist and comply with all of my...
I walked a half marathon. It was hard to do but so worth it when I crossed the finish line.
First and foremost, you have recognized that you have a problem with food. This is a major accomplishment. Now you need to find out why you binge. Get into therapy to address these issues. I could...
Subway breakfast. My favorite is a 3 inch steak and cheese egg flatbread (I don't eat the bread and the egg is wrapped around the steak). Panera has the best black bean soup.
I have addressed my binge eating with my therapist before surgery. There have been times in the past where I have purged after eating too much food. Chocolate and ice cream in large amounts upset my...
Three months out here. The numbers that I concern myself with are my blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Those two were the main reasons I did this surgery. They are the first numbers I tell...
Great job! It really is a great feeling to be under 200. Way to go sleeve buddy!
Good luck to you. I was in your shoes one week ago. I was a nervous week and did not sleep a wink. Everything turned out fine for me and I hope it turns out the same for you.
Great post. Made my day. Thank you. :)
That...was...awesome!!! This is hands down the most inspiring post I have seen on here. Enjoy your continued success. You earned it!
Wtg! :)
I am feeling your pain. I had my surgery on the same day. This full liquid stage does suck! I have been on different bariatric cooking websites to look up recipes. I can't wait to try puréed...
Wtg! :)
If it we me, I'd order a water with lemon and lime or cranberry juice with water and a lime. Just tell everyone that you are the DD for the night. Enjoy your girls night out. Have fun with your...
Glad that you are home now. I also had my surgery on 9/30. Everything is going well for me. I am dealing with head hunger. I am on a full liquid diet, so that does help. Hang in there. Take care.
I am also dealing with head hunger. I know it will get better. I also am not having any problems drinking my water. Total blessing for me.
That is so awesome that you are doing this as a couple. Good luck to both of you.
I think you should go back to the basics. If you search the five day pouch diet on here, you can help jump start the weight loss. Hang in there. I am sure others will post with advice.
I am scheduled for 9 am today! Praying for no leaks!
I am also getting sleeved today. I am still up. Trying to calm myself down. I need to get to sleep. Praying for all those having surgery today. Best of luck.
