    Re: three weeks out

Eat slow and small. My husband gets on me every time we eat. Like everyone said just a couple ounces and stop once you feel even the first sign of "full".

    Re: Hi! Newbie from Ohio

I have not. I've not shared my surgery with anyone except my husband and my boss. Good luck with everything!

    Alcohol...how long did you wait?

I've seen a variety of timeframes my doctor recommended waiting 6 months. I'm curious how long did everyone wait and what was the tolerance?

    Re: Please remind me why...

Is a 6 week stall common? I've been holding steady for a solid week.

Tuna salad felt stuck to me too.
  6. Almost 7 weeks out and finally feel like this was a good decision

Although I'm still on soft foods for another five weeks, I'm starting to feel like myself again. A week in the hospital battling dehydration and major GERD made me question what I had done. At last,...

    Re: Heartburn

I'm trying to figure out if any certain foods trigger it. It's like I'm choking on fire. Can't even think about laying down:( I'm only three weeks out (Thursday) so I'm hoping it settles soon.

Re: Anxiously awaiting April 21st surgery

My surgeon gave me two weeks but was happy to release me once I was feeling up to returning. I had surgery on April 21st and returned on May 2nd. I could've easily returned earlier.

    Re: Surgery went well

I'm 5 days out. Having difficulty with water seems like there's an air bubble with every sip. Juice and jello seem to go down a bit easier but I e had virtually nothing since the surgery. Incisions...

    Re: New me

Good and bad. My doctor requires Medifast/Proti-VLC diet. The powdery packets get old really quick but its convenient. 100 calories each 5/day. It's been a hungry two weeks. How was yours?

    Anxiously awaiting April 21st surgery

I'm curious how much time I need to take off work. I have a sit down job that requires very little movement.
