Hello! Welcome to the forum. Have you already gotten your approval? That's very exciting. Is May 13 a special date for you?
Has this process changed since you posted this? I can't figure out how to remove the surgeons name from mine.
I know this is an older post, but hi!
Many medications can be made into a liquid form, and your surgeon would urge you to discuss this with your primary doctor and your pharmacist.
I just saw this, after asking for an update on your old post.
Woof. I heard once that challenges/obstacles are just tests to see how much you really want something, but it really gets old jumping...
Hi, Kristi
It's been a while since you've updated so I wanted to check in and see how you are doing.
Did you get your truck fixed?
Have you gotten any more news? How are your feet?
You could tap the glass on the counter a few times before drinking to try to release some of the bubbles. And definitely sip it, don't slam it.
No one can really tell you what your results will be. Do your best to try to do all the things you know will be helpful and hopefully any loose skin you get is minor.
I am so sorry you are having such a fight for this! That sucks. You've got so much going on all at the same time. Maybe you need a sappy movie night? Whenever I can feel myself getting close to a...
Welcome to the forum! I hope you find this is much more successful for you than the lap band.
Hi, Em. Welcome. This is a really good place to find understanding people at all stages of this journey.
40 days! That's very exciting.
Thank you everyone. I love reading things like this! I've got so far to go and things like this help me envision what I get to look forward to.
You can share as many as you'd like! :o
I feel like I need to take some pages from your book because I need to start exercising every day, "rain or shine". Good for you. I am hoping to build that kind of willpower.
What is your favorite thing that you can do now that you couldn't do before surgery?
No matter how silly or insignificant it might seem. Maybe not even your "favorite" thing, but...just something...
Did you get the Zofran filled? Were you supposed to continue the antibiotics after you got your Zofran? It's good that your wounds are shrinking at least.
I can't imagine how stressful this...
This is the first forum I have ever been a member of that had the option to "thank" people for their posts, and as a relatively new person, it you don't want to be the ONLY person "Thank"ing everyone...
This is one of the things I am hoping for the most. I am so tired of being so tired.
Hope you are feeling a little bit better and look forward to hearing all about your journey!
This is probably one of those questions you'll really just have to ask the doctor, unfortunately. But that's what they're there for! You shouldn't be embarrassed. No matter what your question or...
MyFitnessPal feels like more work to me than just writing it down. It's weird, I know.
Are you just able to mentally keep track of what's you're eating?
Oh, are you a rugger?!
I really like some of the features of FatSecret, but you're right it has a terrible name. Seriously, why would they do that?
I'll cross all my crossables for you. And I hope you feel better soon!
Peppermint tea helps me when my stomach is feeling yucky, usually. If you are a mint fan, it might be worth a shot.
I have to admit, I am surprised by the number of people who like to handwrite their logs! My PCP requested I do that for her, just keep a general log of what I was eating for a couple of weeks and...
What works best for you for logging? Any tricks or tips?
Have any of you found that you prefer handwriting your food log? If so, is there a specific journal/notebook you like?
