Ok so I have been wanting this surgery, working my butt off (literally I have dropped 43 pounds on my own), waiting for a response from the insurance company, worrying and upset about it taking so...

You can replace white rice with brown. Wheat pasta over white. Spaghetti squash instead of spaghetti noodles. Quinoa instead of rice. You still need carbs, just...
Put your cauliflower rice in an inch or two of boiling water for about 5 minutes or so, I imagine. Doesn't take long. I'm going to try it with chicken stock and seasonings.

I asked my doc about green smoothies during the full liquid phase, he said no problem as long as the veggies and fruit are shredded up fine and it's drinkable, and to add in protien powder.
