Looking to see if there is anyone in the Madison, WI area.
I remember you Lorna Doone--you remind me of one of my favorite cookies, not that I will be eating anytime soon. ;-) Glad to see you are still here. Sorry to hear about your husband.
Hi all,
I am finally back on the site after some help with the administrators (forgot my password, and changed email address so I couldn't reset). Let me share how that happened.
After...
I have had a Fitbit for nearly 3 years and LOVE it. It's very motivating, especially if you are a competitive person. I check throughout the day to compare my steps with my friends.
I am cold all the time, too. I layer my clothes, keep throw blankets on my sofa & chair and take a bubble bath before bed. It all helps. On the upside we won't be sweating our butts off come next...
I love spicy food, but can't handle it as spicy as before. I can live with that, though. I find wine burns more than spicy food, but again I never was big drinker so its not an issue. When I think...
I live in the upper Midwest and am cold all the time now, too. One word: LAYERS. And, I keep throw blankets on my sofa and chairs. On the upside, I doubt we'll be sweating so much next summer :-)
Sounds like its time for find a new doctor. By the way, announcing your surgery to a room full of patients is a HIPAA violation.
Update time, my goals were:
1. Lose 8 pounds Not going to make this goal, in stall and I have to be more careful about what I am eating. At least the inches are decreasing.
2. Get my fluids in...
I understand about just wanting to move on and enjoy life. "I want to say this is the real me, get used to it." It's not so much the compliments that bother me, its the "how much have you lost?"...
Free weights, StairMaster and Dreadmill. I'd rather run outside, but the treadmill is always available when its not possible to get a god run in outside.
Reason #32 To escape the health problems that cut my dad's life short, and live a long and healthy life
Congrats, so happy for you! I love reading your posts and watching you on youtube. You are an inspiration to us all.
Mid-month update:
I ran my 10K today and ran a best time by nearly 12 minutes! Sitting on top of the world right now!
I agree with Irob8, get your running analyzed. Make sure you have the right clothes, too. Its getting cold here and cotton clothing gets wet, weighs you down and will keep you colder than the tech...
Both burn in my sleeve, but white is not as bad as red.
Fantastic! You look great.
YAY! Congratulations!
You are not alone. I had my surgery one day before you and have the same experience. I just roll with it; eat what you can, when you can. Sleeves can be so temperamental. What went down well one...
I think it is normal to think about the food. Even after the surgery I went through a period of time (during that 1st month) where I wondered what I did to myself and mourned my old relationship...
Hang in there and know you are not alone. We all have to work through the old habits. I am confronting old habits myself. My daughter gets married on Friday evening and I have PMS (Sorry about the...
Don't forget your body just went through major surgery. It is still recovering, the weight will come off in due time. One thing I like to keep in mind about the stalls and slow downs is that it...
I took both at first. I am still taking Ursodiol, but I have been off Omeprazole for a while.
Congrats, you look fantastic and so young.
Cpngratulations, Lisa! You look fantastic!
