    Re: Food Addiction

Currently I would say that I am not. But I would like to go to a local counselor who specializes in food addiction, if my insurance will cover it.

    Food Addiction

I don't see any recent posts about Food Addiction, so I wanted to start a new thread in case anyone wants to talk about that.
  4. Five Years Later - Seeking Approval for Gastric Bypass

My maximum weight was 415. I was 390 at the time of surgery. I dropped about 100 pounds. I plateaued. My weight started to creep up again. I let it happen. Now I am around 360 pounds. I...

I wasn't trying to criticize you or anything. I was just surprised that people would make those types of comments.

Have any of you tried Weight Watchers since getting your surgery? I found out that my insurance will pay for it, so I have been trying it for a few weeks.

This was the first time that I had any kind of surgery. Once they gave me the drugs, it seemed like the whole thing was over instantly.

I was expecting a lot more pain during recovery than I...

One negative comment that I got was from someone I know my early college days. When I told her about the surgery, she said something like: "Oh, so you didn't do it the right way."
