I was told to take chewable Gas X. I still take it occasionally.
Also I couldn’t stand the chicken broth. I did better drinking the liquid off of chicken noodle soup. Was a lot more flavorful.

6 days out I couldn’t walk a mile. I find I have good days and not so good days. I try to stay moving as much as I feel comfortable.
As far as getting your protein and fluid. Do they best you can....
