    It does get better. Take it one day at a time. My surgeon prescribed nausea medication so that might help you get through this period.

    I use the date I started the six month pathway to gastric sleeve surgery. I had to work hard to lose that weight too! My surgeon uses my first weight in at his office when figuring total weight loss....

    Have you talked to your bariatric team? I have prescription nausea medicine that I sometimes have to take. You don't want to get dehydrated again. I hope you get some relief soon.

    Your surgeon should give you specific instructions on the pre-op liquid diet. I would follow it exactly and the very best you can. I could tolerate protein shakes before surgery but they made me sick...
