    Same here! I absolutely crave healthier food post op, protein and salads. Rarely, if ever, crave sweet treats. Salty, yes, but air popped popcorn seems to satisfy!

    I went to Italy for three weeks at eight weeks post op, and YES, I had wine at that time. One glass, with every dinner, never had a problem. Sip slowly and enjoy!

    It's possible, and yes, you probably are retaining fluids. All good though, you are having the food funerals so many have prior to surgery. Good luck to you, healthy new life awaits you!

    Tinman said it all! I still have 1-3 glasses of wine, several times a week. (Business dinners with the hubs.) You will learn very quickly what works for you and your sleeve.
