I'm now a year out (YAY!) and doing great... except for the fact that I always seem cold!! Does anyone else seem to have that problem?
I, like you, went in to the orientation thinking lap band... but ended up choosing the sleeve, which my Dr. agreed with. Been very happy so far! Wwas sleeved on 9/3 and to date have lost about 83lbs.

My surgeon does both surgeries at the same time.
Good luck! Best advice I got from folks here... bring Chapstick. :).

I have the same trouble. Currently I can tolerate Minute Maid LIGHT lemonade and also skim milk.
I could not find a chewable or a liquid - though I was told that iron tastes nasty so maybe those wouldn't be the best option anyway. So I got a small tablet form from GNC - GNC Ultra Iron 65. It is...

I, like you, was hesitant... because honestly this is MY journey and I didn't want to hear anything from the "nay-sayers". So I told just my immediate family and my very best friends... the ones I...
What a great idea! Wish I still lived in the area... cuz I would go! Unfortunately I live in Ohio now.
You will be surprised how "easy" changing is. I was amazed. I'm not hungry at all. Nothing appeals to me. Things I used to love (ex: propel or diet coke) taste NASTY. All I can really drink is water....
I have protein shakes (of course), puréed soups with added protein, flavored and plain water and occasionally diluted white grape juice.
Hi! I'm 45 and live in Ohio. :)
Other than not having any nutritional value, I don't see anything wrong with it.
Regarding your "looking old" comment, typically that can happen with any procedure where you lose weight fast. Does it happen to everyone? No. Genetics and body structure play a role in that too. I...
