Hi Nina
Did you have this shipped to Canberra or can you buy it Australia?
Amanda
I have had the same issue just recently. Mine was either from eating to quickly or too dry. However, same thing re meat and chicken.
So just as you said, I have gone back to soft foods and shakes....
You look amazing!!!!! Congratulations!
Hi I am 4.5 months post sleeve. Still having trouble to eat a lot of things. I tend to stick to soft easier foods, like eggs, yoghurts, Optifast shake, sushi, sashami, udon and Hokkaido noodles stir...
Hi, I was sent home after the surgery on Pariet, with a month's supply to be taken, regardless if I was to suffer with reflux. So haven't had a problem yet, as still have a week to go. Just take...
Thank you everyone.....So it is very normal for a Sleever. And those gurgling noises are a nuisance as well.
I am 3 weeks post op, and have serious burping issues. Has anyone else experied this!:)
I originally went to a Clinic to talk about a Band, I didn't know of other options, but learnt about them on that visit. Came home and started to some research Band v Sleeve. The clinic had a support...
Thanks for that, I will try Starbucks. But today I had a macchiato with a sachet of equal in it, however didn't finish it, had a few sips and that was enough.
Oh, I hope my taste for coffee comes...
Hi Francesa
We have Nandos in Sydney, so when I am solids and looking for Take away, it is a great suggestion!
I had a similar experience yesterday. Ordered my first skim cappuccino without chocolate on top. Took a few sips and pushed it away, found it was too milky and heavy. Maybe I will try a macchiato...
I was a stay at home Mum for 12 years and was a nice size 10, which was great for me. When I dropped them all off at school, I would either go to the gym or go on long walks in the national park with...
Hi there
Don't worry it becomes a lot easier. I am 10 days out, I have the Gummies multivitamins first thing in the am with a sip of water.
Then I make myself a protein shake. Takes me easily an...
Can I ask do you have a recipe for the meatloaf. That is a great idea for lunch snacks!
Same scenario was for me.
And had such horrible constipation on about Day 4, but painfully was able to go. So not wanting to go through all that again, I take every 3 days a Blackmores herbal...
I am sure others will give you better advice and I would love to know more myself.
I am 10 days as well. However, I enjoy the protein shake, but only the Optifast Coffee flavour. So in the morning I...
I am the same being 10 days post op.
We went out last night to the movies and then dinner with friends. I sat and sipped water all night, no wine and no food. It didn't worry me at all and it was my...
As I am in Sydney, we don't have to get approval from insurance companies only be in our health fund for 12 months to cover the hospital stay.
However, it has cost me personally about AUD7000.00....
Gosh your a strong man.
I can't believe how amazing you look and can certainly appreciate your apprehension for the dating scene.
Just dating post divorce is nerve wracking enough, but look at it...
Hi jiji
I am 8 days post op. When I left hospital on day 4 I was on clear fluids. Came home on full liquids.
I have one coffee shake with 200mls of skim milk ( not sure of conversion to ozs), with...
Hi Donya,
We had ours the same day.
What I am doing is hardly eating anything, just still full liquids
Wake up and have water, sip, sip, sip about 200-300mls, not sue the conversion to ozs.
Then...
Well done Hayley,
Happy 21st that is also a great milestone!
One week now and down 9 kgs - mind you really on liquids still, haven't started pureeing too much, because I don't like the texture of...
I think the best take away food is Japanese. You get a Miso soup, sashimi( which is pure protein) soft and easy to chew and full of flavour. Oh and Tofu, which is not fried. I keep small cans of Tuna...
If I could do it, then you certainly can to?
Glad you got rid of the coke, drink diet cordial, apple juice watered down and water.
Trust me after surgery you will find that you don't get hungry....
