You will. It will be real normal, not eat until I can't fit another thing in my body.........That's why we have/had surgery. I'm almost 3yrs out and it was best thing I ever did for myself.
Mine lasted about 2-3 days. Walk Walk Walk, and dissolvable GasX strips. Put on tongue......Good luck.
Congrats. A lot of hard work. Keep it up.
I had my surgery in NY. I had to start pre-op diet minimum of 3 weeks prior. I started about a month prior. I lost almost 30lbs before surgery, I wish I had the will power to stick with it before I...
Good luck with everything. Exercise definitely helps. When I am not active, weight creeps on a lb at a time.
I only like the chocolate premier protein shake 30 grams of protein, and the vanilla GNC 25 gram protein shake. I use the vanilla one in my coffee instead of milk and sugar.
.
2 year anniversary since my surgery. A few things from this life changing journey.
I am completely off every medicine.
All blood work is perfect.
Blood pressure perfect.
I can eat and drink...
Exercise. Don't have to train like an athlete, just move. Walk, get heart going. I lost inches and weight by moving. When I stopped moving I put weight on. Just a little bit came off again. Now I...
I would see another Dr. I had surgery almost 2yrs ago. Dr. Ahmad was my Dr. He set me up with a diet plan, step by step expectations on where I would be at month by month. Certain foods give you more...
Best thing I ever did for myself.
Be persistent. Continue seeing a Dr at least to check your weight. Some Drs don't charge for that. I had to track weight and BP. I would walk in and Nurse would check quick and write it in my chart....
Great job. I am a few months shy of you, and I absolutely agree with the get active part. I'm not as strict on the eating part, but I make sure I always get my protein for the day. I need to focus...
Congrats.
I was told you want the liver to shrink because it sits on or over at least part of the stomach. When the Dr is doing the surgery you want the least amount of handling or potential to damage liver. ...
Try turkey or chicken cold cuts. I roll them up. They are soft, easy to eat, and good protein. Get Low salt/No salt. Chew chew chew. May only be able to eat 2. Wait a little while and eat again. Good...
One day at a time. I think we all went through same thing. Bread is a waste of space. If I eat pork or steak it still fills me more then chicken. I am 18 months out. It does get better, but still my...
Congrats. I also weigh myself everyday. If I go up or down over 3 days, I watch what I'm doing.
Do you do any exercise? Keep a journal for a week or so. May see something, maybe more food or sugary food/drinks. I just past 18 months. Slowed down and creeped up a few lbs. I added walking on...
If you were on a diet what would you order? Something healthier or smaller portion? If not get what ever you like. Good thing is you have lunch the next day, make sure you like it.
Good luck. Anything you can think of, we have probably asked ourselves. If you type in search bar it may pop up, or just post your questions. It may take a day or so, but it will be answered.
Unreal. Good luck with everything.
I was back at work 1 week out. Dr told me NO lifting heavier then 20 lbs. Remember you may feel fine, but your stomach was cut in half and sawn back together. LET IT HEAL. 8 weeks out I was in gym....
I joined gym. Your body might be stuck in cardio mode now. I was doing a lot of the same routine on treadmill. I would walk for an hr. Try changing up. 1 day walk 15 minutes next time, 1/2hr, and so...
Its not bad. I would just like to tighten with exercise. I just don't know what exercise.
